Eligibility
To enroll, you must have completed the pre-registration phase of the Real Estate Salesperson Program, and be registered with RECO.
Agents must complete the mandatory compliance course first, followed by any two of the five electives.
To renew your registration with RECO at the end of the initial two-year cycle, course completion is required. There are no extensions, consult RECO if you are unable to meet your deadline.

The Real Estate Salesperson Program – post-registration education includes:
Mandatory compliance course
This course focuses on the legal responsibilities of real estate agents under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act (TRESA), the law that governs the sector. Participants will gain insight into maintaining compliance during all stages of a real estate transaction, managing non-compliance issues, and maintaining their registration.

- Working in Real Estate: Ownership Alternatives and Complexities
- Real Estate as an Investment Strategy: Residential Properties
- Real Estate as an Investment Strategy: Commercial Properties – Fundamentals
- Real Estate as an Investment Strategy: Commercial Properties – Advanced*
*note: Successful completion of Real Estate as an Investment Strategy: Commercial Properties – Fundamentals is required for registration into the advanced course.
Program Timeline
