Real Estate Salesperson Program
What is a Cohort?
At Career College Group, we deliver real estate education through a facilitated cohort-based model – a proven approach that helps you stay on track, stay motivated, and finish what you start.
The Cohort-Model
All RECO-approved education providers deliver the same curriculum, but not everyone thrives in a self-paced environment. That’s why we offer a cohort-based model for real estate education.
A cohort is a group of students who start and move through a program together, following a set class schedule.
At Career College Group, our model blends facilitated live weekly sessions with self-paced resources. You’ll stay connected and supported while still having the flexibility to learn in a way that works for you. You’ll attend classes with the same group of learners, guided by a dedicated facilitator – an experienced real estate professional who’s there to help you understand the industry and succeed in your new career.
Why We Use a Cohort Model
We’ve been delivering career-focused training since 1969, and something we’ve learned is this: people start programs with good intentions—but setting your own schedule and sticking to it are two very different things.
With a set schedule, live instruction, and a group of peers progressing alongside you, you’re far more likely to finish what you start.
The Benefits of a Cohort Model
- Built-in Accountability
A set schedule and defined timeline keep you moving forward towards your goal of becoming a real estate agent. - Facilitator-Led Learning
You’ll learn from experts working in real estate, who guide you weekly, answer questions in real time, and help you master key concepts. - Integrated Exam Preparation We’ve rethought how exam prep is done. Instead of offering optional, last-minute cram sessions, review is built directly into your weekly classes. That means you’re always reinforcing key material, asking questions as you go, and building confidence to succeed on the RECO exams.
- Peer Support
Being part of a group means you’re not alone. Share insights, build a network, and stay motivated together.
How it Works
Pick your cohort start date and follow a weekly schedule set for your group.
- New cohorts start regularly. Choose a start date that fits your schedule.
- Weekly live sessions are delivered online. In-person options coming soon.
- Choose a schedule with 3 or 4 hours of live, facilitator-led sessions per week.
- Exam material is reviewed along the way, so by the time you reach exam day, you’ve already been preparing for weeks — no separate cram course required.
